Habitat Project September 19, 1998

On Saturday, September 19, 1998, Miami-Dade Justice Association helped build homes and hope for a better life for several members of our community. Upon arrival at the Jordan Commons work site early Saturday, we were advised that the goal was to fully paint (two coats) one home and start a second. Through the dedication and “can do” spirit of our volunteers, THREE homes were painted to completion. It was especially satisfying to be assisted the by the homeowners (Kim Anderson and Hallie Hanner) who were thrilled by the spirited effort and diligence of our volunteers which will help them realize their dream of home ownership a little sooner.

A special thanks is owed to Ken Spiegleman and The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.

Among those in attendance were: Arthur Garcia, Jr., Yara Garcia, Steve Ricci, Bette Ricci, Tommy Davis, Maxine Davis, Sean Dominick, Robert Rubenstein, Kenneth Spiegleman, Eric Shapiro, Daniel Martinez, Ken Hartmann, David Deehl, Susan Carlson, Mike Luna, Craig Dearr and Darcie Mason.

The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertising. Before you decide, ask to be sent free written information about the qualifications and experience of your prospective lawyer.
