Habitat Project - November 1, 1997

The Miami-Dade Justice Association coordinated a work day at the South Miami Heights/Cutler Ridge Habitat for Humanity Villas on Saturday, Novermber 1, under the leadership of board member Arthur Garcia. The project resulted in substantial improvements to the home worked on. “This project is a work in progress over the course of several years, and we intend to continue our work with Habitat as long as our home building skills do not fail us,” said Miami-Dade Justice Association President Robert J. Fiore. The Miami-Dade Justice Association was the first Bar organization in Florida to establish a working relationship with Habitat, conducting the first Habitat work day on December 4, 1993.
